Innovation

Flöde's innovation work consists of knowledge generation through internal Research & Development (R&D).

The work focuses on developing scalable methods for value-adding textile reuse and creating prototypes and good examples of garments and other textile products designed for upcycling.

The new knowledge generated is then transformed and distributed through our consulting services and educational materials.

Knowledge distribution

Currently, there are significant knowledge gaps among both consumers and producers regarding the issues affecting the textile industry.

Flöde collects and disseminates the knowledge and data generated through its innovation work to address the need for robust sustainability education and skills development for the future textile industry, as well as the need for public education about the impact of textile products.
